Saleh Miri has around 53 years of experience in Design and Management of major projects with specialization in airports, Museums, Palaces, and resort developments. His experience was gained in several continents, such as Europe, Asia, North America, Central America, and some minor experience in South-East Asia.
His architectural background and his multi-faceted experience has allowed him to easily communicate between various cultures and bridge the possible obstacles pertaining to cultural specifics. His knowledge of various languages, artistic skills in addition to managerial, economic and financial aspects have placed him in top managerial positions worldwide, in close cooperation with world leaders and renowned personalities.
Saleh’s friendship with Blue Terra principal Andreas Karas goes back to mid 1990s when Saleh was the group CEO of the first minister of oil of Saudi Arabia, Mr.Zaki Yamani. Among the various large scale projects that he conceived and lead, for Blue City Oman (27 sq. km. US$ 20 billion) he was privileged to have worked for 9 years under the minister who is now his Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.
Saleh designed and led the construction of several airports, Mehrabad airport in Iran and mostly in Africa (such as Harare, Zimbabwe; Maputo, Mozambique; Chileka, Malawi; Cotonou, Benin) as well as many 5 star hotels and resorts, especially in North Africa, Europe and Middle East. Hospitals, museums complement his rich involvement with his passion in architecture as a catalyst for the betterment of humanity.
His “outside-the-box” approach to solutions has also been behind his partnership with Blue Terra on monorail, medical mall, logistics and other projects under development in Africa and Middle East.
Saleh has a Master from, Ensaav and from Architecture School in St. Luc, Brussels, Higher Mathematics at College St. Michel, Brussels and a first degree from College Cardinal Mercier in Belgium. Born in Iran, Saleh did his primary school in Hamburg Germany. He is a French citizen with his primary languages being Farsi, French, English, German Dutch and some Arabic; Saleh has been living in Muscat, Oman for around 25 years.
